Day 3 - 女人街 & Avenue of Stars

June 14, 2011

After done praying & visiting at Wong Tai Sin temple off we headed to the Ladies street (女人街). Just take the MTR to Mong kok and exit E2. Did all my homework before travelling , so I got no problem. Everything is so easy as ABC! Ha ha ha.... Sorry I was too proud of myself =)

While we was hunting for toilet , we bump into this dessert shop because they have toilet. So we decided to have some bite & also to rest our feet & fill our stomach. Surprisingly its very clean & they serve lots of dessert. Their speciality is Mango. The price is reasonable too. Forgotten what is the shop called , all I know is once you exit E2 , just walk straight & you will spot a corner shop selling drinks like bubble tea & dessert.

All right , our next destination is to Tsim Sha Tsui for . . . . . .

The Avenue of Stars & Symphony of lights !
Avenue of stars (星光大道) was design to recognize the film industry's contribution in promoting Hong Kong as a destination worldwide. The Avenue of stars is located along the Victoria Harbour waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Avenue of Stars is a free attraction that can be visited any time of the day or night. It's especially lovely in the evening when it's illuminated with tons of twinkling lights. Great place to watch the Symphony of lights. Symphony of lights is a synchronised building exterior decorative light and laser multimedia display, featuring 44 buildings on both sides of the Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong accompanied by music. The technology was developed by Australian firm Laser vision and cost approximately 44 million HK dollar. It has attracted over 4 million visitors and locals so far, and is held every night for ten minutes.

While going back to our hotel , we stop by at Lan Kwai Fong since its one of the main attraction in Hong Kong. is a small square of streets in Central , Hong Kong. Its famous for clubbing , drinking & dining. Lots of club & Bistro there but unfortunately we are tired & we are not into alcoholic mood too. So we just walk for a while & headed straight back home.

Just like in those HK drama you can find police everywhere at the whole Lan Kwai Fong street. If my clubbing life is here , I feel safe all the time! Ha ha ha ha . . . . .

That's all for the Day 3 , this is our shopping damage .
Actually nothing much , was kinda disappointed with the shopping there. Couldn't find much girls fashion. They sell lots of sport shoe & much more bags & tee's for guys. Just bought souvenirs & Textwood jeans for dad birthday present.

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure.
There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.
