Food Journey @ Myeongdong, Seoul

Outfit of the day ♥

Simple post to share my food venture while I'm at Korea last week.
First of all Myeondong Kyoja. This is a very popular place to eat in Myeondong. Their dumplings are good. Their hand cut noodles are delicious too. The most interesting and impressive is how fast the food being serve. Our food is serve in less than a minute and it taste good & hot too. The menu is simple , is either noodle or dumplings.
Dessert time
Some snacks around Myeondgon street , serving cheese baked lobster.
Dakgalbi is one of my favourite. I always have this in Malaysia as well. So we tried this famous one located at Myeongdong. Nothing much to shout out. I feel is almost same like the one I had in Mr.Dakgaldi or Uncle Jang.
I'ts night time , time to have some beer.
Street food again , TOPPOKI
I love Korea sooooooo much!

Line Friends Store & Stylenanda Cafe @ Myeongdong, Seoul

Line friends store it's located in the center of Myeongdong shopping area. Take subway and exit no.7 Myeondong. Walk few minutes and you will reach the destination. Not a LINE fans but of course it's a MUST to take picture with this super huge bear. All of their merchandises and stuffs around are slightly higher in price. Good for a see through visit and snap some cute photos around the store.
Brown ice-cream , KRW 6,000

Next stop , the famous Stylenanda Pink Hotel Flagship Store.

Love this boutique shop so much that has very creatively designed each floor in a hotel concept , from lobby entrance , room floors , washroom , laundry , swimming pool cafe & on the rooftop an open air area where you can sit and take pictures. Their merchandise ranging from cosmetics , toiletries to fashionable clothes.
We are feeling young !

N Seoul Tower & James Cheese Back Ribs Myeongdong, Seoul

Its another good day at Seoul. Our itinerary today is to visit the N Seoul Tower. A typical tourist spot but definitely a must-see! N Seoul Tower , also known as Namsan Tower , has been featured in many Korean dramas. The observation deck is absolute amazing. Not only it's the tallest point in Seoul , it has beautiful unobstructed view.
We took the cable car to the tower.

Enjoying the chilling weather while sipping our coffee.

Back to Myeondong to have our dinner. Our choice for today is James cheese back ribs. We went there at 5pm. Went upstairs and they were able to seat us immediately which is good! Couldn't forget the lady boss here , she is so friendly. She even take extra care while I'm eating because I'm wearing white.
We ordered 2 portion mildest spicy and normal amount of cheese and its 16,000W per portion.
Overall I would say it was a good place to eat and would recommend if you want something simple and fun to try. Especially if you are cheese lover!
Shopping time again!

Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을) , Korea

Such an adorable little village and a must to visit during your trip to Korea. You feel quite removed from the city in this area and you feel compelled to check out every single store that you encounter as they are all so different and creative. There are also small old style restaurants and modern cafes so one could lose a couple of hours walking around. For your info the Hanbok are very beautiful and rental fee are not expensive at all.
I loved strolling through the narrow and quiet streets of this village. Traditional Korean houses, beautiful gates, a lot of green! Here and there you'd stumble across small artsy shops selling anything from souvenirs to leather shoes and ceramic works of art.
Plan your trip in the morning to avoid crowd because you will be here for a long time. We were here for 4 hours.  Overall definitely worth a visit if you want to see traditional culture and buildings.

[Seoul] Common Ground 커먼그라운드

Common Ground 커먼그라운드 is Korea's first pop-up area built with shipping containers.Completed in 2016 in Seoul. Not a huge place but accessible via the metro. Nice pop up style stores with closing and accessories .The place is built by many blue cargo boxes mix with different retails. There's some street food trucks and some space for chill. Worthy for a visit. Some unique shops but prices are higher than normal, so only buy the more unique stuffs and NEVER the common brands.
Some of this place looks like an unkempt backyard and some of it is very stylish and trendy.

How to get there:
