4D3N at Bandung , Indonesia
September 10, 2017Travelling to Bandung never crossed my mind until one day my friend told me it is one of the coolest city in Indonesia. First off, this city is literally cool. Located high in the mountains,Bandung enjoys comfy cool year-round temperatures, verdant pine forest & scenic highland views. It is also much less jam compare to Jakarta. I heard lots of locals like to come here during the weekend too.
First stop to this Belacan restaurant to have our lunch.
Next headed to Pasar Borong Baru - a wholesale shopping mall which mainly sell textile.
KAWAH PUTIH
is a phenomenal tourist attraction that you have to visit and is one of the most popular places of interest. Kawah Putih is a striking crater lake and tourist spot in a volcanic crater. It is about 3 hours drive from the city center. Remember to bring along face mask as the sulfur smell is very strong.
Next is to Cihampelas Walk . . .
This place actually a mid range mall with some outdoor place to walk. Do not confuse the Cihampelas Walk Mall with Cihampelas Walk. The latter, which is next to (but not connected to) the mall, is a walking pedestrian terrace above a busy road, sort of like the Bandung version of Highline. The mall on the other hand has one enclosed air conditioned building and several outdoor buildings, connected by walkways and bridges
Dinner time at Kampiun Bistro.
Affordable food with live band. Hipster cafe! So instagrammable ambiance! Love the food, the live band. Fast service! Overall the BEST food I ate in Bandung because I'm not a spicy food lover. Somehow I don't like Indonesian food. Luckily today we have tomato fish sauce :)
