Yee Shun Milk Company 義順牛奶公司 (HK)

December 18, 2012

Ring ring ring the bells . . . . Oh Christmas is near and I'm here at Hong Kong for 3 days with the family. Enjoy the breezy cooling weather here , when we are cold we would like to have something nice and warm. So we decided to stop by Yee Shun Milk Company 義順牛奶公司 . Apparently mum dad found this restaurant few years back when they were at Hong Kong so now they brought us here to try. Yes is MILK and surprisingly it taste really good! Good until I ordered another bowl. Yee Shun's stewed milk is truly amazing!
Don't worry they have english menu too , you can ask them.
Double Stewed milk (雙皮燉奶) go for warm.
The Double Stewed Milk has the strongest milk flavor among all its product and its smoothness is uncomparable. The texture is the thickest as no additional ingredients are added to it. Good texture , very soft and smooth. Wonder how they cook it. $25 for a bowl. Good enough for the price that you're paying. I would eat this anytime compared to any expensive restaurants that sells the same things. I heard some review saying that the warm Ginger steamed milk is nice too.
I also ordered Ham noodles because I am hungry. Look like normal Maggie mee with a ham on top right? But trust me , the taste is totally different! No wonder those copy-cat Hong Kong noodle selling at Malaysia are not sell able. Now I know why , although is simple but they add some kind of oil in it ,  the whole noodle taste very different compare I eat at Kim Gary those. They have some Hong Kong style sandwiches and food too
Don't expect service. They rush you , but is normal since you are at Hong Kong. Share table , rush order , eat fast & get out fast. We stayed near Causeway bay , so we went to the Yee Shun branch at Causeway bay. If you're interested ,  take Causeway Bay MTR exit C then turn right. Address is right below.

G/F, 506 Lockhart Road
Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
