Weekend outing to Zoo Taiping

It is Celine's birthday trip from her grandparents to Ipoh. Decided to brought my kids to zoo to see the animal live in front of their eyes. It was an eye opening experience to see real lion and giraffes. However, for us adults though, the overall upkeep for the zoo seems abit low. It is not the best zoo but it is worth visiting this zoo. Some of the animals roam freely like the common crane that would come up to you or display their feathers. The gibbons were very active swinging from tree to tree and chatting with each other. Quite a large area to stroll, so best bring the kids’ trolley if you have toddlers. There is a tram for those who cannot walk much that take you around the place with an explanation of each animal. The whole place is filled with beautiful greenery and thus will keep you well shielded from the sun and temperatures are kept cool too.
