Last week we spotted this new Japanese restaurant at Pavilion so we decided to give a try. Its called Tonkatsu by Wa Kitchen , located at the sixth floor. Their specially is all about FRIED chicken or pork. They have very limited choices , which I don't quite like it. Nothing much to choose.
They have their own specialty sauce for the fried pork and chicken. First you have to grind all the sesame seeds and then, add in the thick Japanese Worcestershire sauce, blend them well to create a real appetizing fragrant sauce for your fried stuff.the dipping sauce really give extra kick to the fried chicken & pork.
Not so interested with this place , because of the limited choices & also most of the food are deep-fried only. Nothing else but besides that, we were impressed with the miso soup that came with lots of ingredients - pork, mushrooms, carrots and healthy konnyaku. Service is good , maybe because this is consider as fine dining.
Anyway still a great Sunday , because is with you ♥
